OUR COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY

The Arizona Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America (AZPVA) deeply respects the privacy of our visitors. You are not required to register or to provide any personal information in order to access information on our site.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

AZPVA may collect and store the information you choose to provide us and subsequently use this information to send you information about AZPVA and our partners from time to time. AZPVA does not sell, trade or otherwise share any of your information with any third party: except as necessary to process credit card transactions.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms

If you use our Contact Us form to communicate with us, we collect the data shown in the form. The data you provide is retained offline indefinitely.

Site visitors who supply us with their postal address on-line may receive periodic mailings from us with information on services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings from AZPVA in the future, please let us know by sending an e-mail to azpva@azpva.org, calling 602-244-9168, or writing to us at 5015 N 7th Ave, Ste. #2., Phoenix, AZ 85013

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Please note that when you shop or visit a website linked to www.azpva.org, even though you may have started your visit at the AZPVA site, you are interacting directly with a separate organization, not AZPVA. This means that information you choose to share with that organization will fall under their privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Analytics

Google Analytics helps us measure how users interact with website content. As a user navigates between web pages, the Google Analytics JavaScript tags records information about the page a user has seen, for example the URL of the page. The Google Analytics JavaScript libraries use HTTP Cookies to “remember” what a user has done on previous pages / interactions with the website.

Who we share your data with

We share your data with no one.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you do not wish to receive e-mail from AZPVA in the future, please let us know by sending an e-mail to azpva@azpva.org, calling 602-244-9168, or writing to us at 5015 N 7th Avenue, Ste#2. Phoenix, AZ 85013

Where we send your data
