Legislative Program

Legislation Program
Arizona PVA will act on all legislation at all levels of government through: initiation, formulation and the definition of legislation that is in the best interest of veterans and physically disabled citizens.

In concert with our national office (PVA), PVA’s Government Relations Directors Association (GRDA), Arizona Department of Veterans Services, United Arizona Veterans, Protecting Arizona Family Coalition (PAFCO), and the Arizona Disability Advocacy Coalition (AzDAC), the Legislative program works to ensure that our members, veterans with Spinal Cord Injury/Dysfunction, as well as, other people with disabilities receive a voice regarding the services and opportunities that impact their quality-of-life within the community.

Our legislative efforts extend throughout federal, state, and local governing bodies. Where issues and policies develop that impact quality healthcare, civil rights for people with disabilities, and integration within the community, APVA attempts to align itself with a strong consolidated front of other organizations with similar missions.
