Architectural Barrier Advocacy Program

The Arizona Chapter recognizes the need of actively responding to violations of the Americans with Disability Act and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 based on the fact that these two acts form the construct of community integration.

Arizona Office for Americans with Disabilities

AOAD provides guidance to the State of Arizona in implementing and complying with federal and state disabilities laws. The Office provides resources and information, training first to employees of the State of Arizona and second to public and private sector organizations, and functions as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinator for the State of Arizona .

The Access Board

The Access Board is an independent Federal agency devoted to accessibility for people with disabilities. It operates with about 30 staff and a governing board of representatives from Federal departments and public members appointed by the President.’
