Advocacy

Advocacy Program
Arizona PVA will promote equal access in all areas of life for disabled citizens by removal of architectural and attitudinal barriers through: education; technical assistance and networking with other organizations.

The Arizona Chapter's Advocacy program has a primary focus on ensuring that our members and other people with disabilities increase their quality of life through improved accessibility in all aspects of community integration and participation. This improved access is realized by way of education, training, leading by example, and outreach work throughout the state. Our advocates are active participants on various boards and commissions with private industry, as well as, local city, county, and state governmental entities.
